COVID-19 LTC statement
With the growing concerns over the COVID-19 ("Coronavirus") Langley Tennis Centre wants to provide you with an update on our response to date and our commitment to you moving forward.
We ask that all players and parents (if they choose to watch the practice) clean their hands when entering and leaving the building. There is some hand sanitizer at the front desk that you can use and more hand sanitizer on court if players want to use during the practice. Staff is also taking measures to disinfect equipment, tables and couches multiple times per day.
To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell refrain from coming to the club so that together we can ensure safe and comfortable experience for everyone. We will continue to express to players that when coughing and sneezing to do it in their arm and instead of high fiving players do a "racquet high five!"
Staff and customers are also reminded that the best way to reduce the risk of getting colds, flu and COVID-19 is by:
Washing your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds
Coughing and sneezing into a tissue or your shirt sleeve rather than your hands and promptly disposing of used tissues in the waste basket or garbage
Staying home if you are sick and experiencing flu symptoms, particularly a persistent cough and fever
No handshake or high five at any time, including with opponents
Each player is responsible for their own towel and the proper disposal of any other items they may have on court following their match.
Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available;
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands;
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
The LTC standard withdrawal and cancellation policies are in effect. Refund Policy
We will keep all students and players up to date of any cancellations or schedule changes
